He left for work early each day to catch the train into the city. She'd have lots of restless energy. Her favorite way to enjoy herself was to slip on her sexiest negligée. She'd pretend that he was in the chair by the bed, watching her, and that she was giving him an eyeful. He never did that. He was a "lights out, lets make this quick," kind of guy.
In her fantasy, he was hard, watching her, maybe taking himself into his own hand.
